Based in San Francisco, it has a team of about 110 employees, raised $39 million in funding on October 12, 2021, and participated in the Winter 2019 batch. Its mission is to fundamentally change how software is built on the Internet and who gets to build it, empowering web developers to build fast, reliable, and dynamic apps without complex backend engineering or database administration. In April 2024, Convex was acquired by ServiceTitan, integrating its technology and team into ServiceTitan’s platform.
