About this role

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented Handyperson to perform a variety of repair, maintenance, and construction tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, general building maintenance, and troubleshooting facility issues while maintaining a high standard of safety and craftsmanship.

 

Pay: $26

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities

· Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout office and commercial facilities.

· Complete carpentry projects, including furniture assembly, cabinet repairs, and fixture installation.

· Perform painting, patching, and cosmetic repairs to walls, ceilings, sidewalks, and other facility surfaces.

· Conduct basic repairs and troubleshooting of building equipment and appliances.

· Assist with furniture moves, office reconfigurations, and event setups.

· Will assist with minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC technicians with maintenance projects and repairs. (Ex. Switch cover replacement, light bulb replacements, unstop toilet, filter change HVAC units, etc)

· Perform routine grounds maintenance and landscaping activities as needed.

· Identify maintenance concerns and report major repair needs to management.

· Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

· Respond to urgent maintenance requests and facility emergencies.

· Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED equivalent.

· Previous experience in general building maintenance, facilities maintenance, handyman services, or related field.

· Working knowledge of basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and facility repair practices.

· Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
