Job Description

As the Security & Site Facilities Supervisor, you will oversee the security measures and maintenance of site facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment, including the temporary bus loop at Gervais Drive during EGS construction. Your primary responsibilities will include managing security protocols, supervising site facilities, commercial matters, and coordinating with other teams to maintain site integrity.

  • Develop and implement security protocols to protect the construction site, personnel, and equipment from theft, vandalism, and other security threats.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, conduct investigations, and report findings to management.
  • Effectively support the management of the subcontract for the security provider, and vendors for site facilities, including all commercial aspects
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of site facilities, including temporary bus loop at Gervais Drive, site offices, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Identify equipment needed for site facilities, ensuring all necessary resources are available and functional.
  • Ensure all site facilities comply with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of security incidents, maintenance activities, and facility inspections.
  • Maintain effective communication with managers and team members to ensure smooth workflow and project progress.
  • Manage and supervise a team and promote a learning and growth culture.

Work Conditions:

  • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • May require working extended hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet project deadlines.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Security Management, or a related field. Relevant experience may offset educational requirements.
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in security management or facilities maintenance, in large and complex construction project/ industrial project/ logistic project.
  • Must possess a valid Ontario Driving license G or G2.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple locations and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, systems, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of facility maintenance and management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

This role offers an annual base salary in the anticipated range of $110,000–$140,000 CAD, with compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
