About this role

What we're looking for?

We are seeking an experienced Hearing Representative with at least 3 YOE in California workers' compensation defense. They should be proficient in rating permanent disability using the AMA Guides, managing a caseload of lien files, and appearing before WCAB judges. A proven track record of resolving liens through negotiation and litigation is essential.

What you'll do:

Manage a full caseload of lien files, from initial review to final resolution.

Take ownership of rating permanent disability under the AMA Guides and understanding apportionment.

Work closely with clients, including employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators, to achieve expedient claim resolution.

Represent clients before WCAB judges at Mandatory Settlement Conferences, Status Conferences, and walk-through settlements.

Lead negotiations with lien claimants to resolve disputes effectively.

Draft and prepare all necessary legal documents, including settlement agreements, declarations, and position statements, to support your cases.
