Construction Engineer

• Provide consultation and support to the Project Development Department during the investment project selection process, including technical evaluation, preparation of technical documentation, and coordination with relevant competent authorities.
  
• Work closely with consultants during the preparation of the project Pre-FS, FS, and other specialized agreements.
  
• Coordinate with the Project Development Department during the FS appraisal process.
  
• Work with consultants during the selection of EPC/BOP equipment and service suppliers for projects.
  
• Evaluate technical documents and proposals from solution providers.
  
• Participate in contract negotiations, including technical requirements, equipment and service supply scope, and scope of work.
  
• Coordinate with the Engineering Department to review and approve technical designs, including structural designs, construction drawings, equipment technical documentation, and commissioning procedures in accordance with applicable regulations and technical standards.
  
• Participate in reviewing and evaluating contractor profiles, including technical and quality records and project-related legal documentation.
  
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the Company.
  

Requirements

• Aged 25–40, with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil & Industrial Construction, Construction Engineering, or related fields.
  
• Solid technical foundation in the relevant engineering discipline.
  
• Experience in managing and/or participating in the design phases of civil and industrial construction or renewable energy projects (basic design, technical design, and construction drawing design)
  
• Good knowledge of relevant design and equipment standards (QCVN, TCVN, Eurocodes, EN, BS, ASTM/ACI, AISC, BS, JIS, and other applicable standards).
  
• Experience in supervising renewable energy projects is an advantage.
  
• Proficient in the design and calculation of steel structures and large reinforced concrete structures.
  
• Strong understanding of surveying, geology, soil conditions, and the selection of appropriate foundation solutions, including pile foundations, shallow foundations, and other foundation types for onshore and offshore applications.
  
• Ability to calculate special load cases, including dynamic loads from turbines, wind loads, and seismic loads in accordance with international standards such as ASCE and Eurocode.
  
• Proficient in structural analysis and design software used for modelling and load-bearing capacity assessment.
  
• Proficient in foundation design software for analysing soil–structure interaction.
  
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is preferred.
  
• Ability to evaluate contractors’ construction methods and Method Statements to ensure structural safety and compliance with applicable standards.
  
• Good understanding of the technical characteristics of specialized construction materials.
  
• Ability to review technical and material specifications, evaluate alternative solutions, and propose options that reduce material costs while maintaining the required service life of the structure.
  
• English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 750 or above, covering listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
