Identify, develop, and pursue potential customers and project opportunities within the construction and steel structure market.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective projects and establish relationships with key decision-makers, contractors, consultants, developers, and other relevant stakeholders.
Proactively explore new business opportunities and support the expansion of the company’s market presence.
Technical Sales & Solution Consulting
Engage with customers to understand project requirements and provide suitable technical and commercial solutions.
Recommend cost-effective approaches that balance technical feasibility, project requirements, and customer expectations.
Work with internal technical teams where necessary to ensure proposed solutions are practical, competitive, and aligned with project specifications.
Negotiation & Contract Management
Lead commercial negotiations with customers and relevant stakeholders.
Prepare, negotiate, and support the finalization of commercial terms and contracts.
Ensure agreed commercial conditions are clearly communicated and properly coordinated with internal teams during project execution.
Sales Planning & Performance Management
Develop sales plans and action plans in line with assigned business targets.
Monitor sales performance and provide regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates.
Maintain visibility over sales pipelines, project progress, customer opportunities, and expected revenue.
Identify performance gaps and recommend appropriate actions to improve sales effectiveness.
Sales Analysis & Business Improvement
Collect, consolidate, and analyze sales data to evaluate business performance and market opportunities.
Use sales insights to support forecasting, business planning, and commercial decision-making.
Recommend initiatives to improve sales productivity, conversion rates, and overall business performance.
Cross-functional Project Coordination
Coordinate closely with relevant internal departments throughout the project lifecycle to ensure effective project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Support communication between Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Production, and other related functions where required.
Proactively address commercial or coordination issues that may affect customer experience or project progress.
Marketing & Market Development Support
Collaborate with the Marketing team on industry seminars, customer events, promotional activities, and other market development initiatives.
Provide market and customer insights to support brand-building and business development activities.
Contribute to initiatives aimed at strengthening market visibility and generating new business opportunities.
Sales Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and support sales team members in improving commercial knowledge, selling skills, and understanding of market-specific requirements.
Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide practical guidance to ensure team objectives are achieved.
Support the development of a professional, accountable, and results-oriented sales culture.
Product, Service & Process Improvement
Provide commercial input into the improvement of products, services, and internal working processes.
Share customer and market feedback with relevant teams to support continuous improvement.
Participate in initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, customer value, and overall commercial competitiveness.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a comparable sales position within construction, steel structures, or a related technical industry.
Proven experience in sales planning, business development, and sales data analysis.
Strong understanding of project-based selling and the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to plan, delegate, and supervise team activities effectively.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to respond flexibly and decisively to commercial and customer-related situations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
High level of integrity, accountability, initiative, and willingness to continuously learn and develop.
