Overview

We are seeking a polished, organised and highly capable Junior Private PA / Office Assistant to join an established UHNW private office and household team in Central London.

This is a varied and hands-on position combining office administration, reception duties, errands, household organisation and support to the Principal’s Private PA team.

The successful candidate will be based within the private office and will assist with the smooth running of day-to-day arrangements across both the office and nearby private residences.

Importantly, we are looking for someone who already understands the structure and expectations of a professional office environment. Candidates should ideally have at least 1–2 years of experience within PA support, office administration, office management, reception or a similar role.

Candidates from superyacht or luxury hospitality backgrounds are very welcome; however, those coming from yachting should ideally already have gained subsequent land-based office or PA experience and be comfortable with the routine, structure and administrative requirements of a professional office.

This is not a management position. It would suit someone with strong administrative skills who is practical, discreet, service-minded and happy to assist across a broad range of organisational and hands-on responsibilities.

There is good scope to develop within the wider PA and private office structure for the right person.

  • Preparing room-by-room inventory lists for the Principal’s properties

  • Creating and updating household binders, files and reference documents

  • Producing detailed lists, invitations and simple visual materials using Canva

  • Assisting with orders, returns and supplier communication

  • Maintaining accurate spreadsheets, records and filing systems

  • Supporting personal appointments, reservations and household arrangements

  • Following up on messages, requests and outstanding tasks

  • Liaising with household staff, the wider operations team and external suppliers

  • Assisting with preparations for guests, family requirements and private events

  • Providing wider reception, personal and administrative support as required

Requirements

  • Ideally 1–2 years’ recent experience within a professional office environment

  • Previous experience as a Junior PA, Personal Assistant, Office Assistant, Office Manager, Receptionist or Administrative Assistant

  • Experience within a private household, family office, luxury hospitality or another high-end environment would be advantageous

  • Candidates with superyacht experience are welcome, provided they have also gained subsequent land-based office or PA experience

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Confidence using Canva, or the ability and willingness to learn

  • Comfortable creating and maintaining extensive lists, inventories and records

  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • Professional telephone, email and in-person manner

  • Highly attentive to detail

  • Polished, discreet and trustworthy

  • Practical and willing to assist with errands and hands-on duties

  • Warm, approachable and service-minded

  • Calm and adaptable when priorities change

  • Able to follow instructions while also using initiative

  • Comfortable working as part of a close and collaborative team

  • Current right to work in the UK

  • Happy to work fully from the Central London office

  • Flexible when additional support is occasionally required

  • Seeking a stable, long-term position
