Human Performance Analytics SME

The Opportunity:

Conduct and apply advanced health science and human performance expertise and advanced analyst skills to science and technology client challenges. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. May review or guide activities of more junior employees.

You Have:

  • Experience as a tactical human performance domain specialist

  • Experience with health and fitness domains such as exercise physiology, recovery, sleep, fatigue, cognition, and overall performance monitoring

  • Experience translating DoW operational needs into data requirements, analytical models, risks, and actionable insights while working within an interdisciplinary team of coaches, engineers, scientists, and SMEs

  • Experience translating complex biometric and neurocognitive markers into commanderrelevant insights

  • Knowledge of human performance measures, metrics, thresholds, tools, techniques, and solutions

  • Ability to evaluate data generated by human performance technologies such as wearable sensors, fitness assessments, health systems for applicability to product capabilities

  • Ability to translate sport science concepts, methodologies, and best practices to high-risk occupations such as military organizations or high performing tactical athletes

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Master’s degree in a Human Performance field such as Exercise Science, Sports Science, Kinesiology, Sport & Performance Psychology, or Cognitive Science

  • NSCA CSCS or CCS Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, data visualization, and analytical models

  • Ability to build within and utilize data science tools such as Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, QLIK, and other COTS tools

  • Secret clearance

  • Doctorate degree in Human Performance, Exercise Science, Sports Science, Performance Psychology, or a related field

  • CMPC Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
