Summary
The role involves preparing, cutting, shaping, and assembling foam and cushion materials to produce comfortable, durable, and well-finished cushions according to furniture specifications.
Responsibilities
Cut and shape foam according to required measurements, prepare and assemble cushions, fit foam and padding into cushion covers, ensure proper size and shape, perform adjustments and repairs when needed, use cushion-making tools and equipment safely, inspect finished cushions for quality and consistency, maintain tools and equipment, keep the workstation clean and organized, follow safety procedures, meet production deadlines.
Requirements
Previous experience in cushion making or furniture manufacturing, knowledge of foam and cushion materials, ability to follow measurements and specifications, experience using cushion-making tools and equipment, attention to detail, precision, manual dexterity, ability to work independently and as part of a team, ability to meet production deadlines, commitment to quality and safety.
