If you are an undergraduate Accounting student looking to jump start your career, we are offering a 13-month part time paid internship based at our Scoresby office. This is a unique opportunity to gain skills and knowledge while you are working full time commencing 27th January 2027.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Performing month end closing (journals and reconciliations)
- Conducting analysis and follow-up of aged balances and/or reconciliation items
- Compiling and disseminating reports to various stakeholders to support operational and/or compliance-related activities
- Monitor and correct some system errors
- Assist with monthly FX rate monitoring and system updates
- Assist with bi-annual purchase price, price list and standard cost element updates
- Lead small process improvement projects
Responsibilities
About You:
To qualify for this undergraduate internship, it is essential that you:
- Are currently studying a Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Accounting
- Have between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete of your undergraduate degree as of January 2027
- Has the necessary visa to work full-time for 13 months and be willing to defer your studies for that duration.
Note: Applicants that do not meet these qualifying requirements unfortunately will not be considered.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess skills/abilities or be able to perform:
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent team player with dedication and maturity to work autonomously
- Inquisitive and has can-do attitude
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
This is a 13-month, full time, paid placement and the successful candidate will be required to defer their studies for the duration of the program.
