About this role

We are looking for a talented Service & Repair Order Management Specialist (m/w/d) to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Planning & Logistics EU Department in Nürnberg, Bayern, Germany.

This position is based on a 40-hour work week and follows a hybrid working model with 50% on-site presence.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manage end-to-end Service & Repair orders from customer request through invoicing and closure.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on repair and warranty matters.
  • Review and validate warranty eligibility for repair requests.
  • Maintain the Service & Repair mailbox and open order management list.
  • Obtain supplier repair quotations and provide information to Sales for customer quotations.
  • Create and manage supplier purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Product Management on repair assessments and reports.
  • Manage RMA processes, including tracking, returns, traceability, credit notes, and invoicing.
  • Drive timely communication and status updates to customers on open repairs and support the Quality department for warranty claims.
  • Communicates with staff from other functional areas such as sales, warehouse and logistics to confirm the status of orders and resolve customer queries.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications for data analysis and presentation.
  • Basic working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Experience in customer order management, customer-facing roles, or operational environments.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
