About this role

Are you a creative and organized student looking for hands-on experience in communications, digital content, and storytelling?

We are looking for a Student Assistant to support the Maritime Internal Communications team. In this role, you will help create, publish, and promote engaging content for our colleagues around the world. You will work closely with communication professionals on a wide range of projects, gaining valuable experience in corporate communications, digital channels, and employee engagement.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Creating and publishing content for SharePoint/intranet pages
  • Supporting internal communication campaigns and learning initiatives
  • Editing and producing videos, including subtitles, graphics, and basic post-production
  • Creating visual content and communications materials
  • Supporting event communications and logistics for meetings, workshops, and larger company events
  • Conducting research, proofreading, and administrative support activities
  • Contributing to a variety of communications projects and helping the team with ad hoc tasks as business needs evolve

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • An enrolled student in communications, journalism, marketing, media, design, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Comfortable working with Copilot, Microsoft 365 tools and digital platforms
  • Experience with video editing tools is an advantage
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently
