Job DetailsJob Location: Donatelle - New Brighton - New Brighton, MN 55112Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $30.00 - $42.00 HourlyTechnical Support Responsibilities

·Program multi-axis CNC equipment

o Develop efficient machining methods for close tolerance (e.g. 0.0001”), one-off work supporting injection molds, electrodes, fixtures, etc.

o Develop efficient and repeatable machining methods for large scale production

o Evaluate and select most cost effective cutting tools based on machining strategy

·Investigate and evaluate new CNC equipment technologies

·Act as internal expert resource to other team members regarding CNC machine technology and processes

·Operate all machines, manual and CNC, safely in order to build molds, electrodes and

·related tooling

·Develop the proper sequence necessary to run CNC machines most efficiently

·Complete proper paperwork in order to track labor costs in the Tool Room

·Identify problems when analyzing drawings and recommend alterations which would create a more cost effective process

General Responsibilities

·Work with other team members on DPI/DPC projects

·Train other machinists by preparing the worker, demonstrating the operation, observing the worker perform the operation, and following up

·Maintain clean machines, equipment, and organized work areas

·Responsibility to protect Donatelle confidential information and Intellectual Property

·Follow safety requirements as outlined in the safety manual

·Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Education/Experience

·Eighteen month vocational diploma in Machining-OR-Tool, Die and Mold making

·Ten years experience running CNC Milling Machines

Other Qualifications and Desired Skills

·Demonstrated expertise in parametric modeling and milling software such as ProE, ProMfg, and Mastercam up to and including 3+2 and full 5-axis machining

·Experience hard milling, including materials to 60 HRc and utilizing micro tooling

·Experience with multiple machine controls (e.g. Fanuc, Heidenhain) and the ability to quickly learn new ones

·Ability to read and understand blue prints

·Fundamental understanding of geometry and mathematics
