This position is responsible for the final packaging of molded parts, keeping machines supplied with materials needed i.e. resin, inserts, cartons, bags, etc… per the Bill Of Materials. This position is also responsible for the handling, mixing, drying, grinding and storage of materials based on the BOM requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Properly manages all product and materials for inventory.
Performs final packaging of product per the BOM and work instructions for both the clean room and general molding.
Removes all Approved/QC Accepted products from the manufacturing area and delivers it to the finished goods holding area.
Signs in all products, resins, inserts and packaging materials etc., that are brought into the warehouse on the Warehouse Sign In Sheet.
Signs out all products, resins, inserts and packaging materials etc., that are taken out of the warehouse on the Warehouse Sign Out Sheet.
Properly weighs, counts, labels and identifies product, materials and inserts.
Must identify and fill out product labels legibly as per sample. This should include date, shift, lot number and quantity of parts per box. Apply label to carton and/or bags as instructed.
Must identify and fill out material labels legibly with required weights and information.
Must fill out Material Tracking Sheets when applicable and submit them to Materials Manager when job is complete.
Should review the dryer needs and requirements daily so completed jobs can be removed from the dryers, re-weighed and brought back into inventory.
Keeps cartons, cardboard and bags stacked neatly and organized to prevent clutter and damage.
Pulls runners and regrind bins off the floor and maintains daily regrind requirements.
Uses caution with open containers so they don’t spill, and cleans up any material spills ASAP.
Puts material handling equipment and fork trucks back to their designated areas.
Keeps work area, grinding room and materials mixing area clean and organized at all times.
Must be able to use weigh scales for product counts and weights of materials and concentrates.
Must be able to calculate mix and blend ratios based on the BOM or Test Order requirements.
Must be able to clean out, prepare, turn on and adjust drying temperatures for all dryers based on the next production work order.
Must be able to manage the daily grinding of parts and runners along with storage and labeling of regrind.
Must be able to clean out grinders and review any PM or repairs with the Shift Supervisors or Maintenance Mechanic.
Reports any safety issues to proper personnel or supervisors as soon as possible.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
