Are you an early riser looking for a flexible, entry-level campus job that fits cleanly around your lectures and studies?

EF Oxford is looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on student to join our facilities team as a Facilities Assistant. Working during the quiet morning hours before the campus gets busy, you will play a vital role in keeping our Headington site safe, functional, and ready for our international students and staff.

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to gain practical facilities management and site operations experience right on your doorstep.

Position Details 

  • Part-time – Monday to Friday 
  • 6AM to 9AM

Your Role  

  • General maintenance & repairs 
  • Basic plumbing, electrics, painting & decorating 
  • Furniture assembly & moving 
  • Dealing with contractors regarding building issues 
  • Assisting with the management of maintenance supplies 
  • Updating work lists & taking a proactive approach to site management 

 

Requirements  

  • Good English communication skills and customer-facing experience 
  • Flexible approach & teamwork skills 
  • The ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a lone-working environment 
  • Highly organized with attention to detail 
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare 
  • Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment 
  • Clean background check
