Team Lead - Flight Operations
Are you the one we are looking for as a Team Lead for our in-house travel department in Budapest? You will be part of a passionate and fast-paced travel team in our centrally located office in Budapest. We work in EF’s Flight department who collaborate closely with our Language Abroad offices globally.
You will be responsible for producing cost-effective safe flight solutions for our students. We start your journey to take care of our students from Europe and Latin America, these students are traveling on language programs to our schools throughout the world. But since we are a global company, your responsibilities will grow over time.
Your responsibilities.
- Provide timely and efficient support/ communication for our Sales offices
- Make sure your team is happy while working in a high performing company under pressure
- Provide excellent services for flight reservations and ticketing through Amadeus
- Book and manage train bookings with Eurostar
- Significant product & service knowledge with hands on reservation and ticketing skills
- Obsession about cost-effective transport solutions and want to work towards budget and quality targets
- Works closely with all our teams to provide best options for our extremely important students
- Understanding the importance of strong relationships with airlines when handling any issues or exceptions
Your qualifications & experiences
- A degree in tourism, hospitality, or related disciplines is preferred
- To have minimum 3 years of work experience within either travel/tourism industry, transport/logistics, or operations is a plus
- Excellent written and spoken skills in English is key. Any other language is an advantage
- You can master communication, and possess problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy is in your DNA
- GDS experience - Amadeus is a must
- If you have been working or studying in an international environment then you are a given in our team
