Essential Duties and Responsibilities
THE ROLE
This role is responsible for executing HR strategies and actions plans including policies relevant to achieve the India business objectives. This role also gives autonomy and an opportunity to work with senior stakeholders to deliver end to end HR activities for the sales/commercial employees of the organization, together with Local functional leaders (i.e. Innovation, Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Supply Chain) to achieve overall organization’s objectives. In addition, this role would have to liaise with Multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal and External stakeholders.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of the role are to implement the required action plan, manage defined talent acquisition and talent management activities to support efforts to achieve country specific talent attraction and retention. The role shall carry out tactical activities to advice local Business leaders on HR framework. In addition, it is to support key tasks, including India specific talent challenges & drive employee productivity, aligned with Regional vision and aspirations.
The assigned territories include all associated businesses in India.
The HRBP’s specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:
Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)
- India Commercial Leader & team and Regional Managers
- Internal HRBP team
- External Partners including Survey agencies
Accountability #2: Process / Performance
- Work closely and provide support on end-to-end HR related activities ranging from strategic Talent Acquisition, Sales capability plans, Sales incentive plans, training, Talent Management, HR policies, HR operations etc.
- Trains line managers in the complex usage of different HR policies. Understand and design sales incentive plans for the entire workforce
- Advices top managers in taking difficult decisions, supports in development of sales professionals ensure that the human resource goals are aligned with the business goals and global HR initiatives within the set HR budgets
- Manages the overall employee relations for the commercial employees/ team, including, statutory and non-statutory compliance and the general administration.
Accountability #3: People
- Coordinates with COE team and internal Local HR teams
- Act as India commercial team representative in Local / Regional platforms
Act as a point contact for Commercial employees including contract employees on HR processes and motivation/ engagement activities

Supervisory Responsibilities
- None
- Acts as a resource for other team members; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- Minimum 12 years, proven track record in managing commercial employees for a progressive company
Degree/ Master’s HRBP/ HR certification (if any) - Strong and proven analytical skills
- Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Strong Time Management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and tough deadlines
