Following established process and procedures, the Maintenance Technician ll performs emergency, routine and preventive maintenance on all production and building equipment while maintaining safety and communicating effectively. This position is responsible for daily problem solving and repair of robotic, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical or small outdoor power equipment associated with manufacturing and facility operations.

Responsibilities:

Support and service of production lines within the facility

Mechanical, electrical and PLC troubleshooting and repair

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance of production line equipment

Seasonal external facility maintenance

Small engine repair

Reading and interpreting blue prints, drawings and building schematics

Miscellaneous facility maintenance as needed

Replacement of broken or outdated building mechanicals, lighting or bathroom fixtures

Email and phone conversations with vendors

Ordering parts and materials

Maintenance of 5S program

Maintaining compliance with training programs

Maintenance and system entry of PM’s and work orders

Minimum Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

2+ years of experience maintaining industrial equipment, automation or product repair

Preferred Job Requirements:

Experience reading and working from blueprints and interpreting advances drawings and schematics

Demonstrated knowledge in OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO and NEC

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to effectively communicate across departments

Ability to identify problems and implement solutions

Ability to work from drawings, sketches and blueprints

Initiative to learn how to assist, diagnose and repair equipment

Ability to acquire and maintain certifications for operation of service equipment

Knowledge of basic PC functions including using Outlook, Excel and Word

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
