A Day in the Life:

The Operations Excellence Analyst is responsible for reviewing operational data and initiative progress, gathering feedback from field teams, identifying risks or gaps, and supporting clear communications, playbooks, and governance materials that help leaders stay aligned and operators focus on the right priorities.

This role will be required to work from our office in Atlanta, GA at least 3 days per week.

The starting salary for this role is $80,000, commensurate with experience. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze proposed initiatives, operational performance, and field feedback to determine alignment with enterprise priorities, the 2027+ operations experience, and expected impact on DOE, NPS, and employee satisfaction
  • Lead or co-lead specific initiatives under the guidance of an Operations Excellence leader
  • Support the development of weekly operations playbooks, field communications, executive updates, and other mechanisms that provide operators with clear and consistent priorities
  • Maintain initiative inventories, governance materials, decision logs, scorecards, and implementation calendars that create transparency across work affecting Operations
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from frontline employees and field leaders to identify execution risks, communication gaps, competing priorities, and opportunities for simplification
  • Track initiative milestones, adoption measures, operational outcomes, and follow-up actions to support timely escalation and informed decision-making
  • Other duties as assigned

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field within a business or advanced academic environment preferred
  • Proven ability to identify, extract, manipulate, and analyze data to drive operational improvements, optimization, and reporting through dashboards and visualizations
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and innovative, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
