Schedule: 6:30pm – 7:00am (Weekend Requirement: once every 3rd weekend)

How you'll contribute:
A Patient Care Assistant (PCA) who excels in this role:
• Provides direct patient care
• Performs specific documentation in the patient's record
• Maintains equipment and supplies and participates in quality assurance
• Communicates appropriate information intradepartmental and interdepartmental
• Assists and participates in staff education and pursues continuing education for personal development.
• Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately to patients, utilizing appropriate policies and procedures.

What we're looking for:
Education: Graduate of a Registered Nursing Program preferred; HS Diploma or GED required
Licenses: Nursing Assistant Certificate Preferred
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital South is a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital located in the South County area of Saint Louis on the campus of Mercy Hospital South at 10114 Kennerly Road. Our rehabilitation hospital provides care for patients recovering from brain, stroke, or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions.
