You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Freeport, Illinois, location on an On-site work schedule.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of plating processes and solutions to meet project goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and process optimization initiatives.
• Conduct experiments and analyze data to improve chemical manufacturing procedures and ensure quality standards.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE


• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering
• 2+ years of experience in chemical engineering or related technical roles
• 2+ years working with chemical engineering principles, process design, and optimization techniques, especially as they relate to plating processes
• 2+ years working with safety standards and regulatory compliance in chemical manufacturing environments, especially as they relate to plating processes

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and product development
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive project execution
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies

The annual base salary range for this position is $93,400 - $117,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
