Educational Recommendations
Currently a candidate for a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.
Responsibilities
As a part of our team, you will:
- Assist mechanical engineers in reviewing and documenting all material properties in Nokia telecommunication products using 3D software and MS Office tools.
- Work alongside mechanical engineering professionals on day-to-day tasks, including in-lab assembly of prototypes and preparing HW documents.
- Contribute to the development of software tools that mechanical and electrical engineers can continue to use after your term ends.
- Support Mechanical Engineers by creating and reviewing mechanical fabrication and assembly drawings for both internal and external customers.
- Develop piece part designs and assemblies with guidance and direction in sheet metal, plastic, cast, extrusions, including fabrication techniques and tolerance analysis.
Qualifications
You must have:
- Working knowledge of the CREO tool is an asset.
- Experience with electronics packaging is an asset.
- Self-driven, proactive team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
