We are currently seeking Junior Acquisition Analyst to support the U.S. Navy’s Shipbuilding and Conversion, Navy Modernization area for the PEO IWS 6.0 program. This position is hybrid and requires 3 days per week at the Washington Navy Yard.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage data calls for cost estimates, phasing plans, and task planning sheets
  • Manage and oversee the acquisition systems, programs and platforms
  • Collaborate with other U.S. Navy organizations such as OPNAV, SYSCOMS, warfare centers and Fleet stakeholders
  • Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • Bachelor’s degree from a university accredited in the United States
  • 3+ years prior program or project experience
  • Prior experience supporting 30-year Shipbuilding plans
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
  • Attend meetings and provide onsite/in-person support as required

Compensation Policy: 

Salary ranges displayed are typical for this position, but MBC considers multiple factors when extending an offer. Factors include the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's qualifications, and the contractual terms of the program.
