IT Operations Specialist

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Operations Specialist to join our MOL IT & Digital team. The ideal candidate has a solid background in IT operations, enterprise application support and SAP SD module, with the ability to cooperate effectively with business stakeholders, project teams and external partners. What will you do?

• Operate, support and continuously improve business-critical IT applications, with a focus on the SAP SD module.

• Provide professional application support, including incident, problem, change and release management.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational standards, methodologies and best practices.

• Participate in application lifecycle management, including onboarding of new solutions, operational handovers and retirement of obsolete systems.

• Represent your area of expertise in IT projects and support planning, implementation, decision-making and successful delivery.

• Coordinate application upgrades, modifications, standardization activities, asset lifecycle tracking and operational optimization.

• Maintain strong knowledge of supported IT systems, including software and hardware components, capacity planning, licensing models and technical capabilities.

• Support business continuity through disaster recovery planning, emergency preparedness and IT security procedures.

• Build and maintain effective cooperation with internal stakeholders, business partners and other organizations across MOL Group.

What do we expect?

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in SAP SD module, IT operations, enterprise application support or a similar role.

• Good understanding of IT service management processes, especially incident, problem, change and release management.

• Experience with application lifecycle activities and cooperation on IT projects.

• Ability to analyze complex technical issues, propose practical solutions and follow them through to completion.

• Knowledge of operational standards, business continuity, disaster recovery and IT security principles is an advantage.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, organizational and documentation skills.

• Professional English language skills at B2 level; additional language skills are welcome.

• Experience from a large enterprise, multinational environment, energy, oil & gas, manufacturing or shared service environment is an advantage.

Salary: from 2300 EUR brutto/month. The advertised salary represents the minimum guaranteed base salary for this position. The final offer will be determined individually, based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
