Mustang Rental Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Rental Yard Coordinator to join our Katy location. If you have experience in equipment staging, yard operations, or heavy equipment handling, this is your opportunity to join a leader in the construction equipment rental industry.
🔧 What You’ll Do as a Rental Yard Coordinator:
As a Rental Yard Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to stage and organize rental equipment on the yard to ensure efficient pickup and return by haul drivers. You’ll play a key support role for delivery logistics, equipment readiness, and yard cleanliness.
Rental Yard Coordinator Responsibilities Include:
- Verify equipment paperwork and ensure haul drivers load the correct units
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment for customer deliveries and returns
- Direct drivers on where to drop returning equipment
- Perform rental check-ins as equipment arrives
- Keep yard and equipment in clean, orderly condition
- Support wash rack duties and machine prep
- Audit rent-ready machines and maintain yard equipment inventory status

📋 Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of operating construction equipment and machine checkpoints
- Experience in material handling, equipment movement, or yard logistics
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Familiarity with electronic systems and equipment tracking
- Strong problem-solving skills and professional communication
- Organized, safety-minded, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
