Your contribution
As a Business Assistant, you will provide administrative support to leaders and teams while delivering an exceptional customer service experience. You will help ensure efficient office operations, coordinate meetings and events, manage administrative processes, and serve as a key point of contact for business and office-related activities.
As part of our team, you will
- Manage day-to-day office operations to maintain an organized, efficient, and professional workplace.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, events, and site visits, including scheduling, logistics, catering, facilities, and technology support.
- Provide calendar management, travel coordination, and administrative support for leaders and teams.
- Process purchase requisitions, invoices, expense reports, and corporate credit card reconciliations.
- Support office administration activities such as mail distribution, office supplies, vendor coordination, workspace management, and facilities support.
- Prepare, format, and distribute reports, presentations, correspondence, and other business documents.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for administrative, operational, and office-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with Business Assistants and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless office operations.
- Support leadership meetings, board meetings, special projects, and company-wide events.
Prerequisites for your success in this role
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Administrative Management, Event Planning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience providing administrative or office support in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
- Experience with SAP, Concur, or similar business systems preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships across teams and functions.
Your work environment
- You will work closely with executives, department leaders, Facilities, IT, Travel, Accounting, Supply Chain, and external vendors. This role offers the opportunity to support leadership teams, contribute to key business initiatives, and help create an efficient and positive workplace experience.
- In office position 5 days a week.
Work Environment, Pay & Benefits:
This position is based in our Denver, CO corporate headquarters, with flexibility for hybrid work. The base salary range is 68,800 - 86,000 (reflecting market rates and your qualifications). The final base pay offer will be based on individual factors such as your experience, and skills – we do not ask for or use your prior pay in setting your compensation. You will also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and personal performance. Newmont provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, health savings/reimbursement accounts, 401(k), pension, paid time off, and family leave.
