About this role
You'll join our Software & Automation team in Kristiansand, working alongside experienced automation engineers, software developers and system specialists. From new product development to upgrades of our global installed base, you'll help deliver safe, reliable and innovative control solutions that make a real difference for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC-based machine control systems
- Develop new features and improve existing automation solutions
- Test, troubleshoot and commission control systems
- Support upgrades for our global installed base
- Collaborate with software, electrical and mechanical engineers throughout the product lifecycle
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation
- Experience with HMI and machine control systems is an advantage
- Curiosity, a collaborative mindset and a passion for solving technical challenges
- Experience with Siemens PLC platforms is beneficial but not essential
