Overview

Frito Lay Canada is seeking a Production Planning & Scheduling Analyst based in Lethbridge, AB, to support production facilities in both Taber and Lethbridge. This role helps drive PepsiCo’s success by planning overall production capacity across both sites and ensuring production schedules align to meet forecasted demand and site guiding principles. The successful candidate will use their Production Planning and Scheduling knowledge to coordinate cross-functional teams, deliver manufacturing goals, make decisions to remove roadblocks and independently manage moderately complex projects and commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage forecasting data to plan production capacity in Taber and Lethbridge
  • Collaborate with Region Product Supply teams to coordinate site capacities as needed
  • Delivers effective change leadership to drive business changes related to innovation planning, capacity planning, Master Line Schedule changes and scheduling software and tools
  • Effective communication and collaboration across cross functional teams, including sales, packaging and scheduling teams
  • Oversee the development of daily production schedules at the sites, coaching as needed
  • Motivate Product Supply Team members to achieve metrics and goals, leveraging recognition and Big 3 venues
  • Tracks key performance indicators/costs, anticipates and correct trends which may compromise achievement of Service metrics
  • Ensures compliance with all health, safety and food safety regulations
  • Administer policies and procedures
  • This role requires regular presence at both of the Taber and Lethbridge facilities
  • This role may be required to support off-shift and weekend collaboration and decision making as needs require

Qualifications

  • Required experience in packaging, manufacturing, or production scheduling
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the PepsiCo Foods supply chain is considered an asset
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools, including DPP, SAP, DRP, and advanced Excel
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback while holding self and others accountable for processes and results
  • Ability to lead team-based decision-making
  • Proven ability to work in a challenging, results-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to overcome obstacles and challenge teams to achieve desired outcomes
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills
  • Flexibility to work off-shifts and weekends
