Physical / Protective Security Specialist
Location: Quito, Ecuador (with in-country travel)
Clearance: U.S. Government Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT / Tier 2), anticipated
Status: Contingent upon contract award
Position Overview
RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Physical / Protective Security Specialist in Quito, Ecuador, with in-country travel required, and is contingent upon contract award.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Translate assessed risk into protection plans and protective-measure standards for at-risk justice officials.
• Develop personal-protection concepts and facility and courtroom hardening standards.
• Establish protocols to adjust protection measures as threats evolve.
• Support development of the program’s protection-planning tools.
• Train and mentor counterpart personnel in protective-security practices.
Required Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in criminal justice, security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in protective operations.
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT / Tier 2) determination.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Antiterrorism Officer (ATO) credential.
• Close-protection and facility-hardening experience.
• Latin America and the Caribbean regional experience.
