Role Summary

We are looking for a high-performing Senior Freight Forwarder to support our growing business. As a Freight Forwarder (Import / Export) you are responsible for the implementation and coordination of shipments in accordance with the companies’ guidelines and the wishes of the customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard / Implement new clients in the Shared Service Center in Bratislava

• Stakeholder management to local branches, but also with external clients.

• Transportation planning and booking activities for ocean including capacity planning, shipment planning, carrier selection, routing, scheduling and tendering.

• Complete and review shipping (and customs) documentation

• Monitor shipments and customs clearance status; resolve shipment exceptions and complications if they arise.

• Track and monitor customer, and organization logistics KPIs and cost performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience within logistics

• Excellent knowledge about Freight Forwarding Export and Import processes;

• Knowledge on Ocean Freight is key; Airfreight knowledge is an advantage;

• Knowledge of regulatory (export) policies;

• Ability to define and document processes;

• Ability to coach processes to colleagues;

• Excellent communication skills in English, additional European languages are an advantage;

• Excellent skills on Microsoft Office tools;
