Execute daily transport and customer service-related tasks for one of Samsung SDS’s key customers.Key Responsibilities
Inbound/Outbound process
- Create the inbound planning in accordance with the order/ bo status and key performance indicator in order to receive all inbound shipments based on urgency and within the SLA with the customer.
- Arrange outbound truck planning for the daily network shipments, consolidated shipments and ad-hoc shipments.
- Ensure all required information/documentation is present for each shipment
- Monitor key performance indicators and pi’s to receive proof of delivery and to minimize detention & demurrage and storage cost
- Take corrective actions in collaboration with the 3PL partner in case agreed performance isn’t met
- Pro-actively inform stakeholders both in and externally, with relevant information.
- Work according to the applicable SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and maintain them
Customer service
- Act as a contact person for 3PL partners, subsidiaries, supply chain planners, security department, customs department and warehouse employees in order to answer questions regarding order situation, delivery slots, administrative bookings, customer requirements, distribution conditions and IOD’s
Reporting
- Analyze daily carrier and internal reports in order to manage daily in and outbound processes and 3PL service providers
- Edit and send a daily order situation report to inform management and supply chain planners
Billing
- Process and analyze all in and outbound shipment data for billing purposes
Requirements
- MBO 4/ HBO in relevant area (e.g. supply chain/logistics)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Customer orientated
- Assertive personality
- Proactive attitude
- Business English, speaking and writing
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Curious and eager to learn.
- Constructive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player, build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders involved.
- Knowledge of ERP and TMS systems.
