About this role
Enterprise risk team is responsible for developing and maintaining key risk management frameworks, including risk appetite, capital, pricing, climate risk, and other overarching enterprise risk frameworks across Baltics. In this role, you will be responsible for pricing and profitability risk activities, including monitoring and analysing pricing and profitability developments, performing controls and independent reviews, contributing to the development of frameworks, reporting and governance that support sound pricing decisions and sustainable profitability.
\nYour responsibilities will include:- Provide independent second line oversight of pricing and profitability risk across the Baltic countries
- Monitor and analyse pricing, profitability and Return on Business Equity (RoBE) developments, identifying trends, deviations and potential risks to sustainable profitability
- Prepare regular pricing and profitability risk reports and turn analysis into clear, management-ready insights
- Perform independent controls, reviews and challenge of pricing controls executed in the first line of defence, including assessment of control design, execution and governance
- Analyse material pricing decisions, profitability deviations and portfolio-level developments, and provide challenge, recommendations and escalation where necessary
- Contribute to the development of pricing risk frameworks, policies, methodologies, key risk indicators and governance processes
- Work closely with business, finance, and other stakeholders across the Baltics to improve pricing governance, data quality, controls and reporting
- Support regulatory and audit-related activities concerning pricing and profitability risk
- University degree in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, risk management, business administration, or similar
- Experience in risk management, banking, finance, pricing, profitability analysis, controlling or a related area
- Understanding of banking products, pricing principles and the drivers of profitability
- Ability to turn complex data and business topics into clear conclusions and communicate them to senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to data, indicators and control results
- Ability to challenge constructively and work effectively across functions and countries
- High ownership, integrity and attention to detail, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
