Position Purpose:

Maintain aircraft in accordance with manufacturer's recommended maintenance program and FARs. Keep safety, quality and passenger comfort as primary objectives. Provide internal source of technical knowledge and expertise in one specific dicipline or model aircraft.


Key Responsibilities:
  • 10% Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and aircraft manufacturer's inspection requirements/due intervals
  • 40% Perform maintenance, inspection and repair on the aircraft paying close attention to detail and proper documentation of work performed
  • 10% Perform departure and arrival duties, assist passengers with travel needs both on aircraft and limousine/taxi
  • 10% Will have responsibility for 1 ea. Aircraft Maintenance Coordination
  • 10% Participates in the development and facilitation of training programs
  • 10% Will fulfill duties and responsibilities of Lead Technician or Lead Inspector in his/her absence
  • 10% Serves the team in the capacity of SME on one model aircraft or advanced avionics

  • Maintenance Manager
  • No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the technical leadership of a project work team: may select team members and assess capabilities, provide technical training, provide information necessary to meet work, project or program objectives, evaluate program or project performance.

Travel Requirements:
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
  • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Working Conditions:
  • Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Inspection Authorization
  • Hands-on computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, internet access)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Must be able to communicate ideas effectively to illicit support
  • Training in Leadership Skills
  • Must have achieved Master Tech Certification in at least one model aircraft or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certification plus FCC or equivelant. 10 years experience must be related to Business Aircraft maintenance activity.

Minimum Education:
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a trade school degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Competencies:
  • Office Computer Business writing skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook): Ability to write letters and convey processes in writing
  • Basic knowledge and ability to communicate via electronic media (emial, outlook & BB)
  • Working knowledge to effectively communicate and understand current technology aircraft electronic/avionics systems
