Key Business Objectives:

The Engineering Coordinator reports to the Director of Engineering and supports all critical department functions of the business. This individual is a committed team player who is motivated, detail-oriented, efficient, and professional. The position requires the ability to fully utilize the technological resources provided to perform all tasks effectively. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting, data governance, document control, and assisting with any additional tasks assigned by the Director of Engineering. All USA Compression employees are responsible for maintaining a safe and professional work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain standard reporting in various formats for the department.

  • Provide technical writing support for new or revised engineering standards, guidelines, and technical bulletins.

  • Act as the document controller for company owned fleet and engineering equipment records.

  • Develop and publish internal and external department email communication releases.

  • Coordinate intradepartmental functions, events, and training sessions as required.

  • Assist the Asset Management department with ERP system data governance, new equipment acquisition coordination and production schedule reporting.

  • For new equipment acquisitions, create and release master data notifications and service notifications in SAP.

  • Assist the I & C department with ERP system data governance, field telemetry activation form requests, and department reporting processes.

  • Travel to internal or external manufacturing facilities, make ready shops, or yards to gather manufacturer data off company owned equipment as required.

  • Provide support for department-related special projects as needed.

  • Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Engineering.

  • Full-time hourly position.



Skills / Capabilities and Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in a coordinator position.

  • 2-5 years of relevant job-related experience is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 key core programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.

  • Proficiency in SAP and Salesforce is highly desired.

  • Strong desire and motivation to learn technical and financial aspects of the business.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision.

  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and with a team.

  • Applicant must have the ability to legally work in the U.S. 

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office working conditions.

  • Periodic lifting requirements up to 25 pounds.

  • Working extended hours as required in emergencies, on projects, or outages.

  • Ability to work and perform in a dynamic, fast-paced, and demanding environment.

  • Travel required, including overnight stays 5-10%25 of the time, across all USA Compression operating areas.

  • Visits to industrial and manufacturing facilities requiring appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will occasionally occur.

  • Position is based in USA Compression Dallas Corporate office and work schedule is in-person during normal business hours, Monday-Friday.
