Under the supervision of the Sr. DPW Manager, the Electrical Superintendent position requires thorough knowledge of electrical standards, as well as CAD and schematics. Design and develop electrical systems to the required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability and quality. Invent new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs. Is responsible for the counterfeit review and inspection of all electronic parts or end items, components, parts, or assemblies that contain electronic parts to determine their authenticity. Researches and validates electrical certifications to meet ARCENT electrical requirements. Electrical Inspector inspects, analyzes, and assesses all cases of suspected counterfeit material and develops inspection packet. Ensures compliance with requisite contractual, US Government, DoD, U.S. Army, local and safety, regulations, codes, policies, guidelines and instructions. Monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, Vectrus Safety Procedures and local standards.

- Provides support in research, planning, installation, documentation and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, actual codes and standards as well as customer requirements.
- Reviews submittals and technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to actual codes, standards and customer requirements.
- Conducts field surveys and other data.
- Performs assignments independently with instruction as to the general results expected and with guidance from the Sr. DPW Manager or Operations Manager - DPW on unusal or complex problems.
- Conducts receiving inspections and ensures products are meeting the requirements, engineering specifications and appropriate industry / regulatory standards according to established procedures in order to determine their integrity and fitness for intended application.
- Inspects and verifies materials, products, and equipment conformance to specifications per requirements and identified standards.
- Marks items for acceptance or rejection, records test results and inspection data, and compares findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards.
- Identify, label and generate reports as well as non-conformance reports for all defective materials
- Ensure control and maintenance of all related documents for material, product, or equipment retention period.
- Inspect for physical damage.
- Control of non-conformance items.
- Ensure inspection times are met.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- OCN Education/Certifications/Experience:
- One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and host nation Driver’s License, is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
- Ten (10) years’ experience as a manager in a multi-discipline environment comparable to that offered under this contract. Preferred background in military installation base support/infrastructure management
- Skills:
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Knowledgeable of how to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language with proficiency.
- Requires a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation, and teamwork.
- Must exercise discretion and good sound judgment.
- Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office and/or other related applications.
- Supervisory/Budget Responsibilities:
- Supervises all personnel at assigned site
- Working Conditions:
- Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
- Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
- Physical Requirements:
- Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
- Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
- Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
