A structured Drop Count Supervisor role is critical to the success of Parq Casino. The primary purpose of the Drop Count Supervisor is to assist the Cage Shift Manager in all details relating to the drop and soft count of Parq Casino Cage Operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The Drop Count Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of activities on the Drop and in the Count Room. This full-time supervisory position will ensure the highest levels of efficiency, accuracy, confidentiality and security in accordance with Company and BCLC standards. This position reports directly to the Cage Shift Manager.

  • Provides supervision and support to the Drop Count Team Members during the Slot and Table Pulls and Soft Counts, TRM replenishment and reconciliations, Proline SST terminal pulls and reconciliation, and reconciling Casino deposits
  • Conducts all drop pulls and counts according to established company and BCLC policies and procedures
  • Data entry and reporting of daily reconciliations to Cage Shift Managers
  • Reconciling and reporting variances in slot drops and table drops
  • Maintains and updates drop routes 
  • iTrak data entry
  • Counterfeit detection and reporting
  • Emergency pulls and reconciliations
  • General clean-up of cage, count room and storage areas
  • Maintains working knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Monitoring and maintenance of all cash counting equipment, slot cassettes, table drop boxes etc.
  • Responsible for providing professional and exceptional customer service in accordance with established company standards
  • Performs other job-related duties, as requested by Cage Management

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Post-secondary education in business administration or another applicable field is an asset
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Drop Count Team Member
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer relations
  • Proven superior customer service experience
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and mathematical abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Extensive knowledge of operational procedures as they pertain to the Cage department
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate operational needs of a casino environment
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, GMS, SDS, CMP and iTrak
  • Strong leadership qualities with a high ability for conflict resolution, effective decision-making and directing staff diplomatically


CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid GAMW License 
  • BCLC Certifications
  • Serving it Right Certification, ART 1, ART 2, AML, Privacy Awareness


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Required to lift up to 20lbs, sit, stand and walk during working hours
