Whether supporting transport, water, energy, property or major infrastructure projects, you'll help maintain the quality, integrity and traceability of project information that enables teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to support multidisciplinary project teams across a portfolio of major projects.

Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers and client stakeholders, you'll manage project documentation throughout its lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project procedures, governance requirements and client expectations.

What you'll do

  • Manage incoming and outgoing project documentation, transmittals and correspondence
  • Maintain document registers, revision histories and audit trails
  • Coordinate document reviews, approvals and submissions
  • Ensure project records are accurate, current and readily accessible
  • Support project mobilisation, reporting, close-out and handover activities
  • Administer electronic document management systems such as Aconex, TeamBinder, ProjectWise and SharePoint
  • Monitor workflow performance and provide reporting on document status and key metrics
  • Assist project teams in applying document control standards and best practices
  • Maintain compliance with quality, safety and information management requirements

 

What we'll love about you

  • Demonstrated experience in Document Control within engineering, consulting, construction or infrastructure environments
  • Strong knowledge of document lifecycle management, revision control and project governance requirements
  • Experience using electronic document management systems (EDMS)
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive, service-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Relevant qualifications in administration, information management, project management or a related discipline are advantageous
