The Transportation Project Engineer will support project delivery from concept through construction by preparing design plans and technical documentation. They will also coordinate with utilities, permitting agencies, and stakeholders to develop cost-effective transportation solutions.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and possess either an EI certification or a PE license. Experience with transportation, roadway, or municipal infrastructure projects and familiarity with FDOT standards are required.

Position Summary
Apex is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our growing transportation team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of roadway, drainage, multimodal, and public infrastructure projects for FDOT and local government clients throughout Florida.
Whether you're designing roadway improvements, coordinating utility relocations, developing drainage solutions, or supporting construction activities, you'll play a key role in delivering projects that directly impact the communities we serve.
What You'll Do
As a member of our transportation team, you'll support project delivery from concept through construction. You'll collaborate with project managers, designers, surveyors, environmental professionals, and agency representatives to develop practical, cost-effective transportation solutions.
