Your key responsibilities
Within EY-Parthenon’s Strategy and Execution Commercial Due Diligence practice, Senior Associates/Consultants identify and analyze the client’s most strategic issues. They are generally the primary contact for our clients, responsible for developing work plans, designing and conducting analyses, synthesizing conclusions and managing other case team members. Senior Associates/Consultants work on a variety of client issues, such as developing growth strategies for organizations, performing due diligence on acquisition candidates, assessing attractiveness of potential targets, understanding new markets, turning around underperforming institutions, reducing operating costs and implementing change, and have the opportunity to assume immediate management responsibility.
Skills and attributes for success
Perform secondary research using a variety of sources (e.g., analyst reports, market research reports, news articles).
Executing various analyses (e.g., customer segmentation, market sizing, competitor analysis, macroeconomic forecasting) to support the strategic recommendations.
Design and executing in-depth interview guides with key organizational stakeholders, industry experts and customers.
Analyzing business plans and pro-forma financial models to help identify key assumptions and drivers.
Managing and directing the analytical efforts of junior team members at the Associate level daily.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Outstanding academic performance, with a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience.
Experience in strategy consulting, private equity, investment banking, market research, or a quantitative type of research function.
Ability to make detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment.
Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.
The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
Ideally, you’ll also have
MBA or graduate degree with at least 18 months of related work experience.
Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,000 to $200,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
