The position involves performing moderate to highly complex clinical laboratory tests and maintaining laboratory equipment through calibration and troubleshooting. The scientist is also responsible for ensuring accurate result reporting, quality control, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related life/physical science and possess a current State Clinical Laboratory Scientist license. The role requires zero to three years of direct laboratory experience and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and repetitive motion.
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.
